“The Eagles Midgets are on the War Path”

On Saturday, the Midgets opened up their home opener with a win over Santa Monica Vikings. The final score was 26-19 but thats after our stingy defense decided to take their foot off the gas pedal in the fourth quarter.

Stars of the game were the Offensive Line “The Hogs.” Trevor Boston, Max Brambila, Jimmy Friedricks, Damion Gladney, Jesse Harvey, Chris Herrera, Jacquise Hooper, JC Lozano, Blake Mirabito, James Sellens, MJ Sofele, John Waldron, Haden Washington, and Lyudmil Zdravkov. With our “7 seconds of effort” on each down we were as a team, able to produce four touchdowns.

Touchdowns were made by: J.B. Blackwell, Jesse Harvey, and Chris Herrera (2) Zach Lalich (QB) help lead the team to its second victory and first league game with two touchdown passes. We also wish speedy recoveries to the following players: Alex Cuevas (hip) Vincent Reppucci (neck stiffness) John Waldron (knee) and MJ Sofele (ankle sprain)… We need you back soon.

Mity Mite Football and Cheer Enjoy Homecoming at El Segundo

This seasons first homegame was festive as the boys surprised the cheerleaders with a cheer for the cheerleaders and flipped the traditional banner “run thru” routine and let the girls run thru a banner made special for them.  The girls loved it and everyone got a great laugh.

Next Saturday sees your Eagles at home again against West LA Youth Football.

A Special Visitor at El Segundo Game

NFL Hall of Fame running back Marcus Allen visited El Segundo Stadium to watch the Jr. Pee Wee game this past Sat.

The USC Trojan/Raider/Chief made a few Mity Mights very happy with autographed footballs.
