WEEK THREE RESULTS!!!
September 30, 2009
The Eagles travelled to a very hostile environment last weekend. We had road games against Tri Cities. We managed to leave Narbonne Highschool with a convincing 4-2 in games on Saturday. Coach Dov’s special teams produced two touchdowns. Flag has won two games in a row. Coach Razza new look offense produce lots of scores. The Mighty Mites are on a two games win streak as well. Coach Tim’s Jr Pee Wee team won their third game in a row and as many as thirteen dating back to last year. Nice job Jr Pee Wee. Coach Harold’s Pee Wee team was leading late and appear to be heading to a third victory until a questionable call by the refs extended the game for our opponents. It left a bitter taste but we want pay back next week. Coach Mike’s Jr Midgets got back to their winning ways with plenty of spectacular running plays. Congrats Jr Midgets. And for our evening game which turned out to be a very intense game, our Midgets looked very strong as their team outlasted us in the later minutes of the game for the Midgets first lost of the season. Coach Chris I am sure you will be on your winning ways next Saturday. Nice job to the El Segundo parents, friends and family for showing up and giving us all of your Eagles Spirit. We once again showed that we are class act of the PCC. Next week will be home games against Lakewood at Serra Highschool in Gardena. Flag starts at 8am sharp. Midgets end the night at 5pm. Snack Bar Duties are in affect at Serra. Please sign up or you lose your Snack Bar refund.

Week Two Results!!!
September 21, 2009
In week two the Mighty Eagles took on the Twin Cities Wolverines. We vowed to get a sweep and almost pulled it off. El Segundo finished 5-1 on the day. Flags preserved their first win of the season while Mighty Mite had to gutt out a victory with a great defensive stand in the fourth quarter. Coach Dov and Razza congrats on your first victories this season. The afternoon games were no changes. Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees out muscled the Wolverines to both go 2-0 this early season. Congrats to Coach Tim and Harold once again. The evening games were intense and we were able to get a split once again. Jr Midgets once again were in the game until the later minutes of the fourth but it ended with a lost. All showing that Eagle Pride in a tough game. The Midgets ended the day with a very impressive victory to close out the night. Congrats to Coach Chris. Once again thanks to our City Commissioners, Midget parents, Board, and all volunteers for another successful home game. Next Saturday we are on the road to Tri Cities. They are tough but we are tougher! Go Eagles!!!!

Then we got it going when our Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees followed with impressive victories. Congrats to Coach Tim and Harold. We ended the evening with a split. The Jr Midgets almost pulled out a victory against a tough opponent. Coach Mike we will get them next week. The Midgets gutted our a victory to close the night out. Congrats to Coach Chris.
